I'm a backend engineer based in Seattle.

Right now I'm at Carbon Robotics, working on the autonomous tractors to help make farming more efficient and sustainable.

Outside of work, I'm working on several AI-native finance projects to help me manage my finances and investments better. Aside from that, I'm investing in real estate, with a focus on mid-term rentals.

  • Owned end-to-end autonomy for tractors, automating driving to the job start point, readiness checks, and autonomy engage with no manual operator steps, enabling the team to scale operator-to-tractor ratio from 1:1 to 1:25.
  • Closed a blind-spot gap in the safety system with a workflow that lets remote operators replay footage of humans detected in a tractor's unsafe zone to confirm safety to engage autonomy, replacing reliance on live camera views alone.
  • Built a push notification service that alerts farmers to tractor and job statuses such as fuel level, replacing manual chat messages from support engineers.
  • Launched an identity management service that centralized user management across company services, eliminating fragmentation and per-service user caching.
  • Built an AI agent that lets on-call engineers investigate and auto-resolve robot issues, cutting time-to-resolution and reducing SME involvement.
